File Format

  • Preferred Formats: We recommend submitting your files in PDF format. This ensures the layout, fonts, and images remain consistent
  • Resolution: For the best print quality, your images should have a resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the final print size.

Binding

We offer a wide range of binding options to accommodate different types of books and budgets:

  • Perfect Binding – The most common method for paperback books and magazines.
  • Saddle Stitching – Ideal for smaller booklets, catalogs, and brochures.
  • Spiral Binding – Perfect for manuals, workbooks, and notebooks that need to lie flat.
  • Wire-O Binding – A professional alternative to spiral binding, providing durability and a sleek look.
  • Case Binding (Hardcover) – High-quality hardcover binding for books that need a luxurious, durable finish.

Colour

CMYK Colour Mode: For print, we use CMYK
(Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) colour mode. Please set up your document in CMYK to get accurate colours.

Other guidelines

  • Bleed Area: For designs that extend to the edge of the paper, ensure you add a bleed area of 3mm beyond the trim size to avoid white edges after trimming.
  • Margins: Maintain appropriate margins (typically 6mm) to ensure important content doesn’t get cut off during the printing process.
  • Resolution: For best results, ensure your designs are created at a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch) to guarantee high-quality print output.
